Creating Characters

2-1. The Character Info Window
In this lesson, we will complete personal information about the characters in your story. We will learn how to add and remove players, as well as assign the Main Character that the Influence Character functions to players.

2-2. Importing and Exporting Players
In this lesson, you will learn how to import players into a project, including using the Typecast feature. You will also learn how to export players for use in other projects.

2-3. Using the Casting Window
In this lesson, you will use the Casting window to assign pictures to your players. You will learn how to resize and reposition the pictures. You will also learn how to import pictures and assign them to players.

2-4. Assigning Characteristics
In this lesson, you will see how to assign character functions to your players. This includes both character archetypes, such as Protagonist and Antagonist, as well as creating complex characters. You will learn how the relative position of characters placed in the characteristic grid implies the nature of player interactions, and see how to add notes about each characteristic

2-5. Using the Character Generator
In this lesson, you will explore the random player generator in Dramatica® Story Expert™. You will learn how to generate new characters/players, as well as how to control their genders, names, pictures, and characteristic assignments. You will also learn how to revert your changes and print a character report.
